This is the first book by the author Fiona Zagacki. She was inspired by her trip to Canada and made it her mission to include important interpersonal themes in this story. The beaver, which plays a big role in Canada, has done it to her. So she quickly had a character for her story. This book is of course offered with an age restriction, but it is for young and old and goes to the heart.
