Fritz Reuter, actually: Heinrich Ludwig Christian Friedrich Reuter (* 7 November 1810 in Stavenhagen; † 12 July 1874 in Eisenach) was a German poet and writer of Low German. Together with Klaus Groth, he is considered one of the founders of modern Low German literature.
