This collection of ten short stories is authored by Garth Nielsen, an 84-year-old elder, writer, and artist. He has spent most of his life living in the deserts and the empty places all across the southwest of the US. He has been honored to know and hear the wisdom of many traditional Native American elders, as he walks both the hallowed ground of the Red Road and the Jesus Road.
