Olivier Grenson was born in 1962 in Charleroi, Belgium. Thanks to the adventures of Lucky Luke and Tintin, he has known since the age of 10 he would become a comics artist. Grenson studied graphic design and animation for four years at the ERG (the School of Graphic Research) of Brussels while starting to create his own series. Between 1984 and 1987, for "Tintin" magazine, he published the series "Aldose & Glucose" as well as his first realistic stories based on Jeanine and Renée Rahir's scripts. In 1989, with the scriptwriter Michel Oleffe, he started working on "Le Golem," which achieved an unexpected success. After that, Olivier created several other books including "Tunnel," "Les Mystères du Loch Ness," and "Détective de l'impossible," but also worked on some television projects. In 1998, Olivier Grenson worked in collaboration with Jean Dufaux on the series "Niklos Koda." He also had the opportunity to work with legendary scriptwriter Jean Van Hamme on the thirteenth and final volume of the series "XIII Mystery" (Dargaud; Europe Comics/Cinebook in English).
