Jacqueline S. Douglas - Libros y biografía

In 2013, Pothole Press published non-fiction 'Inspiration from the Common Wealth of Writers' based on Ivory author interviews as an eBook, and in 2015 it was published in print by Fleming Publications. In 2018 Fleming also published The Scottish Witchfinder novel.  Three novels were then independently published: The Two Seeings (2018)  'Slaves of Men and Gods' (2019) and Family saga, In the Family Way (2023). In 2021/22, two collections of poetry, Fragility and Mosaic were published.

"Writing with startling clarity, she pens an unforgettable narrative that weaves the darkest beliefs, corruption and violence with an intensity that rarely falters. Her plot is set against an ill-omened and daunting backdrop that captures local culture and a powerful sense of legitimacy, which infiltrates her pages.

Populated with a host of vividly drawn characters it's not a cursory tale and can be a harrowing read at times but Jacqueline makes her points without breast-beating, while the overarching social commentary is hard to ignore." bookviralreviews.com
