JEFF ORLOWSKI has been writing since childhood when he wrote his first story called The Truth About Pete Venix for a grade school assignment. His grade was an A for the story, but when he asked his teacher why he didn't get an A+, the teacher told him it was because he forgot to sign his name. He enjoys playing fantasy matchmaker, transporting his readers to enchanting worlds to meet unusual and heroic characters, and a few scary ones, too. He has been told by kids that he is approved to write stories for them, so that’s what he does. When he isn’t writing middle-grade novels, he works with a great team in taking care of the older adult population at an Ohio nursing home. He was born and raised in Ohio, and still lives in the state with his wife and two dogs.
