Julian Hall (1907-1974) was educated at Eton and Oxford. He was the author of four books, three of them novels -
Laura Seaborne, The Senior Commoner and
Two Exiles
- all published in the 1930s
. During the Second World War he worked in military intelligence. After the war he worked with the BBC Home Talks. Later he wrote theatre and sometimes film reviews but never published another novel.
