June's mother used to say, "Sit down June and read a book," as she was getting into more mischief. This phrase will always be remembered fondly by June.
When June was a small child, being one of identical twins, her mother had her hands full. Her father was in the forces, very often posted away on duty. June has written poetry since she was a teenager. Following her mothers interests for poetry with humour, June wrote (Jungle Rumble) which appears in a children's e-book, created to raise funds for Ukraine families. (Don't mess with Grandma) was another amusing poem, written just for fun along with many more.
June enjoys humour and her stories reflect her personality well, mischievous, fun, practical at times, but not often, but also caring and supportive.
Having spent her early years growing up for the most part in Singapore and Germany, June struggled to settle in new schools and make new friends. Her imagination was her solace.
June, having raised her family, all of whom have children of their own now, found a passion for writing. Loosing herself in writing children's magical adventure stories, June soon realised she had so much more to give. What started as one book has now escalated in to a series of five.

This story is about Tilly a camper van. Located in, Rhos Hill, in Wales. June bought Tilly just before the Covid lockdown. June has enjoyed many family outings with her. She has been so much fun for all June's family. Having a staycation in Tilly has enabled the family to explore the beautiful Welsh countryside, beaches, and historical places.
June has five small grandchildren, who get very excited to picnic in the back of Tilly after exploring for the day. However, one of her daughters described Tilly as, "A portaloo on wheels." June found this amusing. The beauty is that she can be parked anywhere as she is not much bigger than a car.
We love her
