Karen Medlin is a slightly scatty mother of five grown-up children. She lives in Cornwall with her equally scatty son and twin chorkie dogs.
When the colours of the flora and fauna and the ever-changing moods of the sea planted an idea in her head, it grew like a weed and became her first novel. She must be a glutton for punishment, because she's started her second.
