I was asked to provide a first-person “bio” here. I’ve always had difficulty writing about myself, especially something that comes across witty or endearing. So, as it’s been said, “Just the facts, ma’am (sir).”

I am a twenty-one year Army veteran, a twenty-two year Department of Defense civilian veteran, a semi-professional musician, and a writer of lies… good lies, fun lies that I hope you, the reader, will find entertaining. I self-published my first book in 2011, and in 2015 I signed on with Evolved Publishing.

I’m a family man, married for thirty-five years to the love of my life. She and I have two sons and three grandchildren. I am a Texas expatriate, living in Germany, from which my wife and I travel… a lot!
