Lucy Ellis Clay lives in a Yorkshire village with her partner and their little menagerie of 2 border collies, 5 cats, 2 guinea pigs, and a shoal of fish who live in one corner of the living room.

 She is an ex PE teacher who enjoys reading, cooking, walking with her dogs, the company of family and friends, playing her piano - badly - drinking tea, and eating far too much chocolate - although she disputes that it is possible to eat too much chocolate! 

This is the first published collection of her ghost stories, and other tales of strange things, with more to follow. She has also published a collection of her poetry, ‘Locked Down Love’, chronicling the loves and losses of her life, and published during the difficult times of 2020. She is presently putting the finishing touches to her first novel, a full length ghost story.
