Lucy Rees - Libros y biografía

Lucy Rees studied ethology and neuroscience, before leaving academic life to apply scientific knowledge to practical problems of horsemanship. She has written numerous books, including two teenage novels, as well as The Horse's Mind, which has had considerable influence in anticipating present trends in horsemanship. She was the subject of the prize-winning film To Ride a Wild Horse, which demonstrated successful ethologically-based training. Lucy now lives in Spain, where she maintains a herd of wild Pottoka horses, the native breed of the Basque country. She frequently lectures in universities throughout Europe and Latin America, and runs courses promoting 'natural' methods of horsemanship based on her own studies of feral horses in Australia, Venezuela, Ecuador and Patagonia.
