Writing for me has always been an outlet. Growing up in the 90’s in a town holden to its historic traditions was as beautiful as it was challenging. Especially as a gay guy whose gender expression is fluid. I came to my small town in Rhode Island by way of adoption from Quito Ecuador, yet another trait that caused me to stick out like a sore thumb. At 30 years old I am very grateful for the challenges that I have faced.
