Madhur Kotharay holds a BTech degree from IIT Bombay and an MS in Solid State Physics from Princeton University in the United States. In 1991, he returned to India to launch Analgesia, India’s leading medical software brand. In 1995, he created and launched computer training courses designed specifically for doctors, such as biostatistics, telemedicine and computer-based medical diagnosis. Kotharay began creating medical content in 1997, after discovering the gaps in our medical systems and becoming convinced of the importance of preventive medicine. Since then, he has written articles and blogs about preventive health issues. He has run full marathons every year since 1989, totalling 188, including fifty-two in 2011, a national record at the time.
