Margaret Quinn is a mother and grandmother who was born and brought up in the North East of England. She has a passionate love for the region, its customs and vernacular. She spent her younger years exploring the wild countryside of Northumberland, and its moors and valleys have a special place in her heart.
She is also a short story writer and has had her work published in anthologies and shortlisted for several awards.
