Born on September 11, 1990 in Gengenbach (Baden), Maria Spotlight grew up in her grandparents' household. In 2010, she graduated from the 'Unserer lieben Frau' convent school. In the same year, she began her training as a surgical technical assistant, which she successfully completed in 2013. In 2014, she married her longtime boyfriend, and the couple had their first child together in 2015. During her parental leave, she wrote her first book, for which the idea came to her in a dream. In 2019, Maria Spotlight became a mother again.
