Mike lives in a beautiful village in North Wales in the United Kingdom. Mike has tried to make his book fast-paced and exciting as possible. He wants to try and grip everyone with his style of writing. No long drawn out chapters straight to the point and exciting. Mike works as a teaching assistant in a school with children with additional learning needs, which he loves with a passion. This week Mike listened to a student reading out his book in class and couldn't explain how proud he was of the young man and how well he read his book. The student told him he loved the story and loved the way every page of the book was so exciting. Mike second passion is music and is the lead singer in a rock band called The Bees Knees. Mike started his book roughly 25 years ago for his eldest daughter who was 6 then and is now thirty-one. A lot of the book has changed since then, from a furry little teddy bear into the amazing character he now calls Zezma. He left school with no qualifications at all and says if he can write a book and self-publish it, trust me he said anybody can. The book is about a boy named Daniel, who was Mike when he was younger and on one stormy night after a horrific nightmare, he discovered a dark secret in the depths of an old mansion. Strange creatures and dark forces enter the village and take him on a journey to the amazing land of Fentwell. The dark character in the book is what Mike believed he saw when he was ten years old while looking for his friends one stormy night in his beautiful village of Tal Y Bont. This dark character still haunts him today his name is Huckle. Master Huckle. Mike's second book is called Daniel Hawthorn and ‘The Moon of Dantra’ which he about a quarter of the way through.
