Moya Cannon veröffentlichte fünf Gedichtbände, zuletzt Keats Lives (Carcanet Press, Manchester 2015). Sie wurde 1956 in Dunfanaghy in der Grafschaft Donegal geboren, verbrachte viele Jahre in Galway und lebt jetzt in Dublin. Sie studierte Geschichte am University College, Dublin, und Internationale Beziehungen am Corpus Christie College, Cambridge.
