Oskar Panizza (1853-1921), German psychiatrist and writer. For Walter Benjamin, he was a "heretical painter of icons." For Kurt Tucholsky, Panizza, before he went mad, was "the boldest and most dashing, the most brilliant and most revolutionary prophet of his country."
