PAT CAPPONI is the author of several bestselling non-fiction titles, including Upstairs in the Crazy House, Dispatches from the Poverty Line and Beyond the Crazy House. Capponi made her acclaimed debut as a mystery writer with Last Stop Sunnyside. Through her own struggles with mental illness, she has become one of Canada’s leading mental health care advocates.
