Born in Cardiff, Patrick Corcoran was educated at Atlantic College, St Donats, and at Bristol University. Last Light Breaking is his first novel and has two sequels, Cecil & Noreen and The Flame. His work has been broadcast on Radio 4. He has won several prizes for his short stories, and was a finalist in the Daily Telegraph short story competition.
