J.R. Martinez was born in Granada (Spain) in 1959. In 1995 he was forced into exile for reasons explained in his book Naturaleza criminal del Opus Dei. He chose Sweden, where he has lived since 1995. He is today a Swedish secondary school teacher, entitled to teach in the subjects of Spanish and mathematics. Since 2005 he works also in digital art and his works can be seen in fineartamerica.com.
