RENAE BRUMBAUGH GREEN is a two-time best-selling author, freelance writer, and award-winning humor columnist. She is married to Rick, a fellow teacher and musician, and they have four children, two dogs, and a dozen or so chickens. They also provide a home for several species of animals they don’t claim, such as snakes and armadillos.
