About the Author Robert Cools
Robert was born in a small farmers town called Dessel in Belgium. He grew up in a neighboring town called Retie. He finished two years of college. He had the opportunity to be an exchange student in Michigan in the States. This book is all about this year, 1968, in Michigan in a town called Blissfield. He returned to the States in 1988 andf stayed until this day. He married his high school sweetheart in 1994. One day he decided to write a book about the year in the States as an exchange student. And here we are.
