Robert Fitzgerald, S.J. (1935 - 2016), was a Jesuit for 62 years and a priest for 49 years. He received a Master's Degree in English and a Licentiate in Sacred Theology. He taught high school at Jesuit Schools in Milwaukee, Omaha, and Prairie du Chien, WI. For six years, he was an Alcohol and Drug Counselor at St. Francis Mission in South Dakota. He spent the rest of his active priestly ministry as a writer, chaplain, and retreat and spiritual director.
