Ronald Bayer, Ph.D., is a professor at the Center for the History and Ethics of Public Health in the Department of Sociomedical Sciences at the Columbia University Mailman School of Public Health, where he has taught since 1988. He has taken a leadership role in the HIV Center's work on ethics since the Center's beginnings and is currently a Co-Director of the Ethics and Policy Core.
