Rowena Aiello's love of fantasy began in school, where her hopes of encountering magical creatures were fueled by a steady diet of young adult witch, vampire, and werewolf books and movies. After years of fruitless searches in mossy woods, snowy mountaintops, and gorgeous mansions revealed no trace of hidden vampires, werewolves, or any other such creatures, she took to creating her own versions. She now lives in a definitely-haunted house, where she occasionally longs for a helpful hobgoblin—or two—to clean the place up so she won't have to.
