Scott Peterson is the Istanbul Bureau Chief for The Christian Science Monitor. He has been the paper’s Middle East correspondent, based in Amman, Jordan, and its Moscow Bureau Chief. One of the most well-traveled and experience foreign correspondents of his generation, he has journeyed to Iran more than thirty times since 1996. Peterson won a Citation for Excellence from the Overseas Press Club of America for his reporting from Iraq.
