Simon J. Wood lives in the picturesque Lincolnshire Wolds, England. In addition to writing, he teaches the guitar and enjoys walking in the countryside, where the scattered villages, rolling hills, local characters and legends provide inspiration for his stories.
He is the author of Bound in Morocco: A Short Story of Intrigue, To Cut a Short Story Short: 111 Little Stories and To Cut a Short Story Short, vol. II: 88 Little Stories. All three titles are available in paperback and available as audiobooks, narrated by Angus Freathy. In addition, the latter two are now available (August 2023) as hardcover editions.
He has also published In Dulci Jubilo: Two Hundred Little Stories (the above three books in one volume), Flash Friction: To Cut a Short Story Short, vol. III - 72 Little Stories, Letters from Ruben and Other Stories: 40 Little Tales of Mirth, and, The Window Crack'd and Other Stories: 40 Little Tales of Horror and the Supranatural.
