S.K. Perry was shortlisted in the Mslexia Novel Competition, was a resident artist at the Roundhouse in Camden and a Cityread Young Writer in Residence in Soho. She co-founded the Great Men project, which trains men to talk to teenage boys about gender equality and healthy relationships in school workshops, and has undertaken arts projects and community organising in gender issues and recovery/resilience after violence. Studying creative writing at Manchester Metropolitan University, she lives in Leeds and is currently working on her second novel.
