Stan Lumsden is a retired Roseville California Police Officer. He is also a retired Park Ranger from Sacramento County. He is a graduate of California State University California and Saint Mary’s College in Moraga. He is also a graduate of the FBI National Academy.

He lives on a lake in the Pacific Northwest in the south Puget Sound area and spends his days kayaking, woodworking, reading, and writing. He and his wife Terrie own a small woodworking company called Whalebirdz, and they create what they like to call functional art.
