Stephen Short is a native of the wintry Pacific Northwest. He writes fiction that ranges from paranoid and obsessive to childish and weird. His work is influenced by Quentin Tarantino and video games as much as it is by Raymond Carver and Denis Johnson. Stephen's fiction has been published in The Account: A Journal of Poetry, Prose, and Thought; is pending publication at The Lit Nerds journal; and has been nominated for Sundress Publications' Best of the Net. This is his first novel.
