Né en 1972, Todd Robinson a été paysagiste, garde du corps et videur – principalement au Roxy à New York et au fameux Rathskeller à Boston. Il a créé une revue spécialisée dans la littérature noire et policière aux États-Unis, The Thuglit, qui a remporté nombre de prix et publié, entre autres, Jake Hinkson. Il vit aujourd’hui à New York et travaille comme barman au Shade Bar de Greenwich Village, à Manhattan.
