Val Jones’s writing career has included short stories, poetry, articles and novels for educational publications, anthologies and literacy programs. She has had short stories for adults published and broadcast on radio, and has recorded oral histories on the life and letters of a World War I soldier. Val’s writing for children is influenced by her interest in early Australian history.
