Vaughan A Barrett was born September 4,1962 in Kingston Jamaica. He was raised by his grandmother until he was later reunited with his mother and his siblings in the United States. Vaughan grew up in the Montgomery County area of Maryland where he attended local area schools. In spite of having many roles in life the two he holds closes is of father and husband.
