Yulia Yakovleva Horst is a columnist and an editor in leading Russian newspapers and magazines and has been an international writer in residence for London's Royal Court Theatre. She lives with her family in Norway. TheRaven's Children is her first children novel in Russian. She is studying for an MA in children's illustration in the UK.
