One little eight-year-old girl, Teresa, Anastasia Alicia Armstrong, touched the lives of many people in a rural community in Mountain View County. Her faith, her trust, and her initiative were a great influence on these folks, especially Sheriff John Murdock, who eventually married Teresa's widowed mother. The story eventually centers on Sheriff's deputy partners, Amber Clark, and Alan Smith. They become involved with the case of a cop killer. Deputy Smith and Sheriff Murdock having been shot and wounded by the killer. They also become involved in the case of a brutal assault and murder of a little girl, Debra Jean Lacy. The Sheriff also assigned Deputies Smith and Clark to become Crime Scene Investigators (CSI) for Mountain View County.
The story has romance, emotions, family, humor, and loyalty.
