Don't read poetry?
You are invited to consider a more pleasurable way of revisiting the genre you may have enjoyed in the past. Poems and Quotes for Those Averse to Poetry delivers accessible and enjoyable poetry celebrating such topics as love (obligatory in all poetry books—no?), dating, death, parenting, children, school, humor, frogs and dogs. This irreverent, playful, and inventive collection delivers poems that are not only painless—but fun.
In addition to the poems, the book features essays on poetry (including "Use Quotations to Energize Your Lessons and Your School") and extensive collections, arranged by topic, of the most interesting, thought-provoking, and useful quotations on poetry. Enjoy!
