There are also some important though unexpected outcomes for his own country and for Ukraine, the country in which he was deployed. Hal's Front is a funny, compelling, slightly provocative fictitious comedy / thriller / love story based in a Kiev Military Hospital. May be inspiring too if the reader remembers to breathe.
