My name is Simon Fox and I'm now a member of the Decree.
But how did I accomplish this you ask? Did I succeed in my mission to abduct Jake Towers, the notorious captain of the spaceship Unbound? Were the authorities ecstatic when I walked him into their jail cell within a storm of falling confetti?
The answer is an obvious no.
I admire the guy, despite being younger, better looking and far more intelligent than me. It's not that I failed my mission, I just decided not to complete it. That's my official statement, anyway.
The crew turned out to be family, especially the engineer, Tinks. She's like my psychotic little sister, electrocuting dolls for fun. It's scary that she manages the ship's environmental systems. Waking up in my room with zero oxygen levels was not an enjoyable experience.
We're on the trail of the elusive villain named Cube. He's a dangerous man in a suit with a cube for a head. After almost killing Tinks, he's on our most wanted list. Aside from our mission of vengeance, we're also searching for the origins of the abandoned derelict convoy.
But what other challenges stand in my way? Because I'm new to the Decree, I must complete my onboarding, initiation and induction. The greatest of these tasks is simple:
Heist the biggest score in space history and solidify my name as the greatest space pirate in the sector.
For I am "Him", and I am not.
