Author, Broker and Unconventional Realtor John E. Foster grew up in the small town of Morganton, Georgia, population 299. In 1978 he opened a one-man real estate office. From then until now, he has quietly become the local expert for anything real estate related in Fannin County. He is currently celebrating his 42 year anniversary as a licensed Real Estate Broker and Certified Residential Appraiser in Georgia and Tennessee. Home-grown foresight helped John realize the vast growth potential of North Georgia, to the extent that he devoted his life to help others reside and thrive in the peaceful atmosphere of the Appalachians. Many past clients credit John Foster for his discreet direction in helping them make one of the best investments of their lives. John has been an active member of the State and National Association of Realtors since opening his first office. He remains a consistent supporter of the Boy Scouts and served as their District Commissioner. Mr. Foster helped organize the first Fannin County Board of Realtors and served as President for three terms. As a successful real estate investor, builder, developer and consultant, John authored the book "Big Bucks in Small Town Real Estate" in 2006.
