Victoria Chames is an artist, poet, and writer living in Northern California, currently working on the nonfiction narrative Victory Is My Name, a Memoir. (Victory is a trilogy and Book-One will be available September 1, 2020 in both e-book and paperback.)
Victoria’s poetry has been published by the Berkeley Poet’s Cooperative Quarterly Anthology and The Milvia Street Journal of Berkeley City College. A series of her poems and an interview by Sara Russell were published in Poetry Life and Times web-based literary magazine. Victoria’s poems from a collection titled “A Space Between Rains” have been published by Darkhorse Press and are available at all stores and internet booksellers in both e-book and paperback.
Victoria Chames is a longtime writer but new to publishing since retiring from two active careers in Fire Service and Hospital Emergency Medical, she now devotes her full time and commitment to writing.
