Born in Cleveland, Ohio, in 1946, I'm old enough to have enjoyed several careers. I live in sunny Arizona now and adore hot weather. Best of all, I'll never need to shovel snow again. Between Ohio and Arizona, there were two husbands, one son, two daughters-in-law, and one grandson. I didn't keep count of how many boyfriends I had between my first and second husbands. As you can imagine, I've been living a full and turbulent life.
Throughout my working years, I was a secretary, office manager, realtor, Avon lady, and a plumbing and electrical buyer. I finally found my niche as a technical writer which took care of paying my bills for more than 25-years. I've written numerous award-winning documents that have been published globally.
When I retired in 2014, I had no doubt I'd continue writing. I also knew I was tired of people telling me technical writers aren't creative. That was simply silly. I love capturing words and letting them flow from my mind onto a keyboard. I also love sharing what I've learned during this crazy process called "aging." It makes sense to combine my writing with my creativity. In the process, I've discovered growing old is a pleasure and a wonderful opportunity to write books for you..
Liberally peppered with wisdom about life, aging, and God, this book will entertain you. Open it anywhere, read as long as you'd like, and then return when you're ready to enjoy another poem, short story, thought-provoking one-liner, or short bursts of wisdom contributed by other old people.
