For those new to the 'Ascension process' it gives a human point of view and makes ascension understandable and accessible to everyone, not just the chosen few. For those who believe they are already on the path to full enlightenment and ascension, it may conflict and be contrary to their beliefs. The practical course-work that has been shown to Karen is given, in part, in this book in order to help people to progress, in whatever way is best for them. Completing the exercises, they (LoM and Karen) believe, will give you a more rounded life and view of it. This in itself will help you to progress—again in your own way, to become a being of 'enlightenment'. Remember, everything is relative, even the term 'enlightenment!
