Mr. Jan Coverstone is the Senior Pastor of Columbia City Fellowship Church, with 25 years as a Prophetic Pastor. During Jan's life journey God taught him many principles of body mechanics and motion to improve his training in martial arts. He began in this sport to distract himself from the pain of life and to strengthen himself. His study lead him to develop a new system of Martial Arts. Martial Arts is not just a way to fight, but a discipline for improving yourself physically and mentally, to overcome yourself and be all you can be. He has been an instructor for 40 years and has reached the highest achievable level in several styles. Concurrently Jan worked 40 years in the excavation field operating heavy machinery with precision. Jan's personal life has been a series of struggles. He has extensive experience as a son, brother, husband, father, grandfather, co-worker, mentor, and friend.
Jan Coverstone writes about spiritual warfare, the power of words by letting the living waters flow, and how your thought process determines who you are? Jan writes to share the knowledge and insights gained through a lifetime of personal experience and communication from The Father himself. He writes to help others to have a better life by understanding what is actually going on around them and to help us improve ourselves and raise children in an all-encompassing healthier environment. Jan lived through many negative words from early childhood through 50 + years of life without understanding the full impact they had on his brain and life. Now he has learned that there is hope to renew our brains and grow into the persons we are meant to be despite our past.
Thanks to the grace of God Jan Coverstone is breaking free from the strongholds placed on him by others that he has battled for a lifetime. He hopes that others can gain from his experiences and teaching and enjoy a better life sooner too.
Conflicts are a part of life. Strong conflicts become battles. Conflicts and battles in our lives may not be spiritual warfare. There are six main areas of your life where you may have battles and conflict, but they are not spiritual warfare. These require a different strategy. So before engaging in spiritual warfare, one must look at these areas to see if they are the root of conflict. It is tempting to find something to blame for our struggles. We must be careful to not give too much credit to Satan for our troubles, thus holding ourselves back from personal victories in conflict resolution with God's guidance. Not all battles are spiritual warfare. After determining the conflict or battle is being waged by Satan and his evil doers, then you are ready to begin spiritual warfare. The enemy's plan is to hinder our growth and effectiveness in the battle for souls. The better we understand the source of the fight, the more capably we can partner with God to defeat the enemy. Spiritual warfare is a battle of who has authority in and over our lives. The warfare is whatever is keeping you from being all you should be as a person and hindering the effectiveness of your work. We are never in the battle alone.
