Vicki enjoys photography and writing fictional stories. She also likes writing music, laughing and writing poetry. A normal day for Vicki is to get up and go somewhere public and watch people as they walk, talk, laugh and use their facial expressions. She also loves to go and talk to perfect strangers and learn about their lives. She has a wild imagination and you never know what her next book will be about. So keep an eye peeled for the next journey she wants to take you on.
Her writing style is descriptive words, so that you visualize where she is taking you in the book, not just reading it - you are part of the adventure, not just a bystander.
She also loves to encourage others to write. It releases the clutter in the brain and makes room for more.
The story of my daughter. An alcoholic who also was addicted to drugs. The good, bad, ugly and hell in the life of addiction. Her life can be used as an example of the nightmare of addiction. Written by mother in hopes of helping at least on person see that addiction not only lives in the addict, but it envelopes every aspect of those lives connected to that addict. It is a nightmare and a blessing of a story. It is a must read since addiction is so prevalent nowadays.
The co-author is a past addict who struggles daily with the demons and has commented below the dashes on most stories giving an addicts view added to the mother's view.
Never think this story was an easy task, as it was far from easy. It rips out an already damaged heart from dealing with a topsy turvy addict who was so loved and missed.
