Mat Coward is a British writer of crime fiction, SF, humour and children's fiction. He is also gardening columnist on the Morning Star newspaper. His short stories have been nominated for the Edgar and shortlisted for the Dagger, published on four continents, translated into several languages, and broadcast on BBC Radio. Over the years he has also published novels, books about radio comedy, and collections of funny press cuttings, and written columns for dozens of magazines and newspapers.
Marcia Talley is the author of five previous books featuring Hannah Ives. A winner of the Malice Domestic writing grant and an Agatha Award nominee for Best First Novel, Ms. Talley won an Agatha and an Anthony Award for her short story "Too Many Cooks" and an Agatha Award for her short story "Driven to Distraction." She is the editor of two mystery collaborations, and her short stories have been published in numerous magazines and anthologies. She lives with her husband in Annapolis, Maryland.
Writer-editor Elizabeth Foxwell's interest in women's contributions to World War I was sparked by the work of _Testament of Youth_ author Vera Brittain; her Georgetown University master's thesis on Brittain's World War II period received distinction. A specialist in the history of mystery/detective fiction, the recipient of Agatha and Dove awards, and an editor at McFarland and Co., Inc, Publishers, she lives outside of Washington, DC.
