Yvonne Sibanda loves a good story with a happy ending. Born and bred in a small mining town of Hwange, Yvonne derives her inspiration to write from her family and friends around her. She believes that each and everyone of us is affected by the issues of the heart and therefore brings them out in her writing. To everything that has love in it, she's a softie, be it an emotional scene of a movie or novel, as she sheds a tear or two.
Beth and her mother set off to live in another town, making a fresh start from the rejection experienced after falling pregnant for the pastor's son. She finally gives birth to her bouncing baby boy but fails to love him because of the constant reminder of betrayal she went through.
Robin is happily married to his childhood friend or at least that is what he thinks until he uncovers his wife's secret when it's already late and she is gone. He and Beth decide to enter into an arrangement to care for the children. Will the arrangement turn into a permanent one or the forces intending to separate their union will finally succeed as they realise this was all a bad idea and trust is understated?
