Murder and robbery on the high seas ...
When rumours of a jewel raid on a luxury yacht in the English Channel reach London, journalist Hugh Curtis is on the first train to Falmouth to investigate the crime. Upon his arrival in the Cornish harbour Hugh finds he isn't the only one wanting to get the inside scoop. Rival reporter, the beautiful Mollie Bourne, is also chasing the story.
With several different leads to follow, Mollie and Hugh team together to try and discover who is responsible for the shooting and what has happened to the glittering loot from the yacht.
And when Mollie gets one of her famous hunches, Hugh has to keep up with her in order to get to the bottom of things. But their combined determination to uncover the truth leads them into deeper trouble than either of them could ever have imagined . . .
This story of passion, deception and untimely death would truly make a sensational headline.
