For over two decades, I have embarked on a relentless quest to discover this vast, intricate world. My journey has taken me far beyond my birthplace in California, to the bustling streets of Manila, vibrant Hong Kong, Taipei, Shanghai, Sydney, Mumbai, Hannover, and back to dynamic Hong Kong
Throughout my travels, I have had the extraordinary opportunity to immerse myself in some of the globe's most fascinating locales, often during pivotal moments. I spent a year living with an aboriginal tribe in the remote Northern Philippines and another year in the slums of Manila, gaining insights into lives vastly different from my own. My adventures in Nepal included being tracked by a Bengal tiger for four intense days and nights through the dense jungle. China, Myanmar, and Vietnam have also left their indelible marks on me, as did my time in Cambodia, where I navigated the post-Pol Pot era with the protection of 16 bodyguards. And then there's India—a land of unparalleled magic and mystery.
As a keen observer of people, places, and events, I strive to transport readers into the heart of my experiences through vivid writing. Whether it's the depths of Nepalese jungles or the vibrant nightlife of Wanchai, Hong Kong, my goal is to make every story come alive
G.A. Miller is a new voice in the chorus of horror authors, drawing his ideas from every day, commonplace events that take unforeseen turns down dark corridors, often with horrific consequences.
Born between the original Japanese “Gojira”, and the Americanized “Godzilla, King of the Monsters!”, G.A.’s interest in horror developed early on, nourished by televised movies on “Shock Theater” (Hosted by Zacherley, the “Cool Ghoul”), Famous Monsters of Filmland magazines, old issues of the late, great EC Comics, the British Horror Invasion of great films from Hammer Studios…the list goes on.
Making a living as a technician, he enjoys stepping away from the digital world, where ones and zeros are absolute, and entering the world of dark imagination, where a single “What If?” can turn normalcy to nightmare in a frenzied heartbeat, and rules of logic do not apply.
A Colorado native, Sam Knight spent ten years in California’s wine country before returning to the Rockies. When asked if he misses California, he gets a wistful look in his eyes and replies he misses the green mountains in the winter, but he is glad to be back home.
As well as having being Distribution Manager for WordFire Press and Senior Editor for Villainous Press, he is author of six children’s books, four short story collections, three novels, and nearly three dozen short stories, including two media tie-ins co-authored with Kevin J. Anderson.
A stay-at-home father, Sam attempts to be a full-time writer, but there are only so many hours left in a day after kids. Once upon a time, he was known to quote books the way some people quote movies, but now he claims having a family has made him forgetful, as a survival adaptation.
